Six Major Prophets is an anthology piece that brings together a series of portraits and profiles of early 20th-century luminaries within a single volume. While less well-known than most of his subjects, Edwin Emery Slosson still managed to be something of a luminary himself, distinguishing himself in such diverse fields as journalism and chemistry.
